everytime i listen to mount eerie's new record "no flashlight" it gets better. i downloaded it weeks ago and was kind of let down, but you seriously have to buy the thing and read along to the poster to get a real sense of just what phil is up to. now all the songs make sense and are really really beautiful. he's also packaging all his new records as both vinyl and cd in one package, which is a great idea who's time has long since come. check it out: p.w. elverum and sun.
i will hopefully be uploading a banner that i did today for campus life. it's 80' long, by far the biggest thing i've printed here yet. kevin sent me a link to misprinted type's collection of photoshop brushes, so like a true hack i downloaded them and used every single one on this banner. you got to experiment. side note: misprinted type is a really really good site, check out the rest of what this guy is doing. it makes me feel small.
now i've got to find the nfl matchups for this weekend so i can win my $10 back. i may or may not have a gambling problem.

from themorningnews. finally sam weir is starring in a movie, and it looks pretty good. the reference to "I-94" leads me to believe this is being made by the freaks&geeks guys, especially considering when it takes place and the fact that they like to cast former F&G people in their stuff. i guess that's really just judd apatow, but whatevs...i'll be seeing this one when it comes out.
there's a new poster up. it's been called "cute."
i'm going to post a song soon that i recorded for my shitty performance piece. the song is called "prayer to Jne6" and it's not that good. the band is recording a new song soon, i'm super-excited but i'll post details when it's actually done.
